9 Minute Preview / Trailer: Robert E. Lee's  last surviving daughter, Mary Custis Lee,  recounts the story, "lest we all forget," of her Papa,  from London in 1914, on the eve of World War I.  She died in 1918, pining to the end for home and hearth.

      Scenes  from the movie, Marse Robert, were filmed on the James River in Virginia at Shirley, Westover, and Carter Hall Plantations and on other sites and places in Virginia very familiar to Lee, e.g., Arlington, Richmond, Fort Monroe, Old Point Comfort,  Petersburg, Fredricksburg, Chancellorsville,  Stratford Hall, Amelia Court House, Farmville, Saylors Creek, Appomattox,  & Lexington.  

   In North Carolina scenes were filmed at Warrenton Springs, in Georgia at Nash Farm,  and in Florida at Fort George Island, Fort Marion (Castillo de San Marco), Fort Clinch, Middleburg, Green Cove Springs, Lake City, Live Oak, Hibernia,  Palatka, San Mateo, Lake Asbury, Micanopy, Ocala, and Civil War re-enactments sites of Olustee, Horse Landing,  Crystal River, Brookville, & Kisissimee.
